After our fully vegan day, we used the Thursday to come back into our power – which was also the theme of the morning invigorating yoga practice, after which we all sat down in a circle for a little conditioning exercise.
Fueling up with breakfast it was time to go out again to the beach! Our girls loved the first beach day so much, we knew we had to plan more and show them some other stunning beaches in the area.
On the way there we stopped at some waterfalls. Some of us even went inside the very refreshing water.
To me the most special thing about the Aegean Sea is how clear it actually is. Every time I am in awe about it. Maria also says, it’s amazing, that there is nothing in it that cold kill you – another way to see the beauty of it and to enjoy it to the fullest. We also had another delicious lunch at the beach taverna over a beautiful view. We didn’t think there could be even more food after the first beach lunch – but there was!
After a few hours at Potami beach we split up, a few went back to the villa for their afternoon massages and the others stayed at the beach to enjoy the water and have a little beack shooting session with Samy.
For the evening practice we had a chilled sunset class outside in the pergola. While watching the sun go down and the sea and castle turning in orange red colors, the girls had a nice soft gentle yoga flow. I had them choose beforehand whether they wanted to practice inside or outside, as the weather conditions were just perfect and they all wanted to be outside. Obviously when you are in nature, you are not alone – so a few garden mice might have visited us or tried to participate in our relaxing evening session 😀
Friday – Oh no, is it our last full day already?! We had a tight schedule planned to fit in as much as possible, to make the most of our last full day
For the morning yoga class, we had a nice pre travel flow focusing on balances. Our inner balance should have been by then quite settled. I was proud to notice the progress each has made individually. I could really tell how far they all have come, each in their own way, compared from the beginning of the week.
After breakfast we headed once again to the beach – Agia Paraskevi.
We stayed there on our sunbeds for a few ours, and truly enjoyed one last swim in the clear, calm waters.
Our last lunch was back at the villa and quite a special one. Local fresh fish and soup! Not too heavy, as we had big plans for dinner.
In the late afternoon we had our last evening yoga session. Regenerating soft yoga and a long healing meditation afterwards.
Just in time for the golden hour the girls git ready for the night and the garden tour with Maria’s mom. Lilian.
The botanical garden of Villa Kasteli and Villa Livano is breathtaking, and the nature loving girls were curious to learn how Lilian is taking care of all of it by herself.
It was the perfect time to stroll through those beautiful plants and flowers while the sun slowly went down.
The boutiques in Karystos are quite cute and unique, so we found some nice gems!
Our final program point and highlight was dinner at Geusiplous! One of my favorite Greek restaurants. The food is just so good there and we had a nice selection of everything, so we could try all the different flavors.
I love the Greek way, you order a bunch of stuff for the middle of the table and you get to try everything!
We had several courses and by the end of it we were all very happy chatting away. It was a perfect last night to end the perfect week!
Our last and final day – Saturday. I usually leave the girls the option to decide if they want a last Yoga session or how they want to spend their last morning. Usually, they say they want to enjoy the view and have a relaxed morning, slowly packing up. I don’t blame them, after a week full of activities and adventure, you want to really let the atmosphere sink in and not rush to be packing up.
So we enjoyed a nice long last brunch together, before it was time to say our farewells.
We went back to the ferry, there may have been also a few (happy) tears. But we don’t say goodbye but see you soon!
One girl stayed behind, her flight didn’t leave until the evening and we try to give everyone as much time at the Villa as possible, so they can conveniently take the ferry that’s suited according to their flight departure times. So she took advantage of having some extra time with Samy and booked a little optional portrait shoot with Samy.
To me it’s always a bit of a bittersweet moment when the last guest leaves. I still feel everyone’s energy at the yoga studio and in the villa and it makes me miss them a lot, when suddenly everything is quiet, when there was so much chatter and laughter before.
But it’s also nice to calm down after such a successful week making so many women happy and giving them the best week of their lives –
That’s what their feedback indicates at least 😉 !
I am looking forward to the next one.
